| Description: This position is responsible for day to day operations of the HIM Department basic functions including, but not limited to: assembly and analysis, folders, forms, record deficiency, MPI, regulatory compliance, and the greater bulk of the medical record process "pre-coding." There are 30 Direct Reports and this individual will be dealing with many physicians on a daily basis and any employee issues that arise. This role has an intense operations focus.

Requirements: An RHIT or RHIA is required with 5 or more years of health information management (HIM) experience. Relocation is negotiable.

- Large facility or teaching facility experience
- Well rounded HIM experience
- Prior Director/Management experience
- EMR conversion experience (start to finish)
