Description:  The SAP Business Analyst is responsible to design, develop, maintain, and enhance application programs supporting CCS / CRM applications for functionality required for customer related processes. These include customer enrollment, customer interaction, account maintenance, market transactions, billing, payments, and credit and collections. This individual will interface with clients to determine requirements, resolve issues, and determine cost estimates. The SAP Business Analyst provides production support for system issues that arise in the daily operations of the system. The role provides subject matter expertise to the Operations groups in order to assist with problem solving. Responsibilities:
  • Determine detailed system requirements based on business requirements provided by the Operations groups
  • Develop functional specifications for configuration and custom development for functionality that cannot be delivered through configuration
  • Configure and unit test CCS modifications to support new system development, enhancements, and production support modifications
  • Develop and execute system test scripts in order to test a group of related functionality
  • Support the development and execution of Enterprise Test scripts
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the impact assessment and testing of SAP Maintenance, Enhancement Packages and Upgrades
  • Monitor production processes and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Investigate and resolve production support problems reported by the end-users or that arise in the monitoring of production jobs
Requirements:  This is an entry level position with responsibility for learning and applying CCS / CRM capabilities to meet business requirements. Candidates should be familiar with the software development lifecycle and development methodologies. Additional Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, Visio, Project, and use of the Internet
  • Ability to prepare and conduct presentations in a professional manner
  • Process-oriented, strong analytical skills, and quality-focused (required to identify logical, rational approaches to business solutions)
  • SAP configuration experience and testing experience is a plus
  • Must possess ability to work with end users of the system, take their business problems, and translate them into system requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate a small, well-defined portion of a project or work process
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment; must be able to assess and be responsive to the views, attitudes, and values of others
  • Ability to provide support to configuration, testing, maintenance, enhancements, and/or support activities
  • Ability to evaluate user change requests and obtain approval to make modifications
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflict
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with technical and non-technical staff and to communicate effectively to a wide range audience
  • Valid Texas driver's license
