  • Leads the delivery of a highly complex project(s)
  • Maintains a tactical focus
  • Sets clear objectives and defined deliverables
  • Develops cost benefit analyses for the project, communicates to an executive committee, creates and reports project status utilizing a dashboard, allocates resources, defines project governance policies, and manages the financial concerns
  • Utilizes and effectively communicates technical components of an initiative to applicable parties
  • Leads a cross-functional team while motivating team members to their highest potential
  • Interfaces effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units
  • Effectively utilizes external vendors and internal resources
  • Preparation of weekly status report including variance and financial analysis
  • Provides input into project Risks and Issues
Requirements:  Previous Healthcare Industry Experience is Required. This project manager is expected to be able to gather technical and business requirements for a knowledge management tool assessment. The project will assess potential knowledge management tools used and supported within the corporate environment. This individual will be expected to lead with minimal supervision and make new relationships when appropriate as they navigate through the organization. Great communication skills are important for stakeholder and team communication. Requirements also include:
  • BA or BS degree
  • PMP or Project Management Professional Certification is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 8+ years of direct relevant experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as business presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines
