Description: Kforce is seeking a Collections Specialist for a 6 month contract position. You will be collecting on delinquent mortgages in an Inbound/Outbound Call Center environment. You will be recommending solutions and work-out plans for borrowers as well as establishing payment plans to minimize loss to the company. The hours are Mon-Thurs 3:00-9:00 pm and Sat 6:30-3:00 pm.
Specific Functions:
- Work in a Collections/Risk Operations environment and be typically aligned with the routine out-bound Collections calling process
- This position frequently requires guidance on non-routine situations
- Primary responsibilities are Collections, customer servicing, and other loss mitigation or recovery activities
- Contact delinquent, charged-off, or high-risk customers in order to secure payment and determine reason for delinquency on active loan/credit card accounts
- In the recovery area, Collectors will work with customers to establish full balance re-payment plans or settlements
- Work an established list of accounts on an automated Collections system and/or auto-dialer
- Resolve routine billing inquiries and negotiate payment arrangements to cure delinquent accounts
- Understand and educate customers on account terms and alternate payment programs and methods
- Navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications

| Requirements: Candidates must have 1-2 years of collections experience in a high-volume and fast paced environment. Previous collections experience is required to be considered. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED.
