Description: One of Kforce's clients is currently seeking Collections Specialists for a 5 month contract position in a Call Center environment.
Duties:
- Contact customers by telephone in an attempt to conclude seriously delinquent loans by establishing and maintaining payment schedules
- Handle collection, revision, recovery of vehicles, or legal resolution
- Confirm payment or negotiate payment arrangement
- Research discrepancies
- Verify all personal identifying information
- Document account information / payment arrangements into the internal system with clear notations
- Maintain clear, friendly, courteous, and professional mannerisms at all times
- Use integrity
- Maintain composure
- Use protocols to decide when special circumstances dictate an exception to the guidelines
- Review all comments in the internal system for previous notations and to find answers to questions
- Communicate with appropriate offices for follow up when needed
- Maintain strict confidentiality with customer account information
- Complete phone calls to meet required performance standards
- Request assistance from a supervisor when necessary
- Maintain established objectives for delinquency, repossessions, and net losses
