Description:  One of our top clients in Foster City, CA is looking for a Marketing Manager on a temporary basis. This candidate would be responsible for the following duties: Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Managing projects related to tools and practices for measuring, projecting and reporting ROI for marketing investments
  • Managing research and analytics projects for measuring and reporting financial return on marketing investments globally
  • Managing projects that expand and enhance marketing measurement and analytics tools, capabilities and processes
  • Interfacing with other divisions, like Finance, to create or evolve standards and frameworks for measuring ROI and making investment decisions
  • Providing analytical expertise and support to marketing management and all marketing functions, including utilize optimization tools to conduct what-if scenario analysis; pull data from multiple sources to develop business cases for specific marketing campaigns (or provide assistance to business owners to develop business cases); produce benchmarking studies and reports; research MROI related trends and developments, etc.; work with Marketing counterparts to develop and implement measurement plans for all major marketing investments and development of scorecards, dashboards and other performance reports

Requirements:  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Finance is preferred. MS or MBA in Marketing or Finance is preferred
  • 5+ years in marketing, Finance and/or analytics demonstrating increased responsibilities
Demonstrated competencies:
  • Strategic thinking, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proven ability to translate ideas into action and set priorities
  • Teamwork, interpersonal skills and an attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication, including presentations
Desired skill sets:
  • Experience with econometric modeling, customer database management, segmentation, multi-variate testing and/or other marketing testing, research and marketing data analysis is preferred
  • Experience developing financial models and business cases
  • Consumer and Business-to-Business marketing experience in Financial Services category
  • Management of external agency partners and internal cross-functional teams
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
