Description: This person will maintain a high standard of data security in respect to industry standards. This person will protect and safeguard data against internal and external theft, damage, and disasters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, testing, implementation, management, and decommissioning of information systems as a technical expert representative of the IS Security Department
- Participate in the integration and tuning of applications and infrastructure to support a thorough logging and incident response strategy
- Provide guidance and next-tier support for IT Security Analysts reviewing events from various sources
- Work with different business units within the organization to help improve the company's overall information security awareness
- Create or update documentation including infrastructure diagrams, procedures, and policy to ensure the organization is addressing the current threat landscape as it pertains to information systems
- Audit security systems and procedures which includes Internet firewalls, anti-virus software, security log monitoring and reporting, and operating system security settings
- Execute assignments from the IS Security Officer
- Report security violations to the IS Security Officer
- Stay abreast of new security technology
- Perform other duties as assigned

| Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in a field related to Computer Science or Security is required. Three years of experience in system administration or security of current Windows Operating Systems is a required minimum. Knowledge of UNIX as well industry standard network infrastructure and security equipment is a plus. Candidates must be able to pass background and credit check.
