Description: Our client is seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join the Controller's organization, assisting in technical accounting and SEC reporting. Responsibilities:
- Work with Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Legal, and various other business partners to prepare and review external communications and presentation materials including quarterly earning releases, monthly sales press releases, Q/As, and Analysts' Day presentations
- Work with Technical and Corporate Accounting to research and review disclosure requirements related to technical accounting issues
- Be responsible for certain month-end and quarter-end accounting close processes including preparation of cash flow statements, audit schedules, and management reports
- Be responsible for coordinating the quarterly auditor reviews and annual year-end audit
- Help prepare various competitor analyses and participate in other special projects related to reporting and technical matters
- Develop and maintain relationships with business partners across the company

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of recent public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and private industry experience. Any additional relevant experience or education would assist the candidate in the selection process.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or certification in process
- 3-5 years of experience (3+ years in public accounting and Big 4 accounting firms preferred)
- Strong technical accounting and research skills as well as familiarity with accounting research tools
- Experience with Oracle and Essbase
- Ability to earn trust and confidence of business partners
- Positive attitude, strong dependable team player, and attention to detail
- Excellent organization and communication skills
