Description: Our client is seeking a Manager to join the Controller's organization to assist in technical accounting and SEC reporting.
External reporting Manager Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely filings of the Form 10-K and 10-Q and complete disclosures in accordance with GAAP and SEC rules
- Work with Technical and Corporate Accounting to research and review disclosure requirements related to technical accounting issues
- Manage the earning release process and other external communications; partner with Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Legal, and various other business partners to prepare/review external communications/presentation materials, and QAs including quarterly earning releases, monthly sales press releases, and Analyst presentations
- Responsible for certain month-end and quarter-end accounting close processes, including the review and/or preparation of cash flow statements, audit schedules, and management reports
- Help to review and prepare various competitor analyses and participate in other special projects related to reporting and technical matters
- Develop and maintain relationships with business partners across the company
- Train, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals

| Requirements: The External Reporting Manager will be a financial professional with experience managing SEC Reporting process, external communications, such as earnings releases, and managing people. The ideal candidate will have a strong public accounting and technical accounting background and proven leadership and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recent public accounting experience or a combination of 6 - 8 years of public accounting and private industry experience. This role requires a CPA. Qualified candidates, please contact Jack Castaneda at JCastaneda@Kforce.com.
