Description: Our client is seeking a strong Senior FA or Finance Manager to join their corporate headquarters. The position reports to the Director of Finance, supporting internal clients in the Products & Services division.
Responsibilities for this role include performing the following duties:
- Develops, maintains, and enhances multiple scorecards which contain key performance indicators (financial and operational) across several areas
- Looks for ways to develop new performance indicators to better evaluate results
- Gathers input from key stakeholders on a regular basis
- Provides associated variance assessments, as well as summaries of results and trends for management and senior leadership on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Produces monthly and quarterly management summaries and variance assessments for management and senior leadership
- Develops, maintains, and enhances existing financial reports to evaluate and drive product profitability, as well as ensure a realistic and actionable view of financial results
- Socializes results with key internal clients
- Looks for ways to better measure results across multiple products and services
- Leads the financial evaluation of proposed divisional projects and initiatives through the use of cost-benefit analysis
- Reviews and contributes to associated business cases
- Partners with other resources in Finance and the business to develop and refine key assumptions
- Works as part of a larger team in support of divisional clients
- Looks for opportunities to improve planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Supports multiple product areas
