| Description: Our client is seeking a Senior SQA Test Lead / Manager with DoD experience. The position is contract-to-hire and comes with a fair market rate and benefits. The planned conversion to permanent is from six months to one year.
Currently, they are at about 60 people. The majority of personnel here have electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or math backgrounds. They are in an extremely niche technology environment, and often produce one-of-a-kind capabilities their customers.
Our client is a small business that leverages rapid-paced advances in information technology to help satisfy the critical needs of its customers. They have developed a variety of data fusion services that combine data from multiple intelligence sources and provide the Intelligence Analyst the ability to analyze, filter, and visualize that data. The client also has products and services that provide entity extraction, data management, and content tagging of intelligence data. The client delivers and maintains a secure Web portal for analyzing and visualizing linked/related data. They are located in Southwest Austin and offer a fun and challenging work environment. They have a strong customer base and excellent long-term prospects.

Requirements: Test Management Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and working in software testing, documentation, and training
- Current experience in Management and coordination of software test and training teams' daily activities and long term strategies
- Proven ability to create detailed documentation, process documentation, user documentation, and software user guides
- Experience in SQA; preferably Java based applications (server-side Java applications and UI testing)
- Understanding of Manual and Automation Testing principles
- Prior experience in creating test scripts as well as creating and executing test cases, scenarios, and plans
- Prior hands-on experience performing full systems and scenario testing
Candidates must have experience with some of the following:
- DOD or other defense domain knowledge
- IMINT, SIGINT, COMINT, HUMINT, and ELINT
- GCCS and DCGS / DIB
