Description: A small but established and growing company in the Houston, TX area is looking ECLSS/Aerospace Engineers nationwide willing to relocate to the Houston, TX area.
The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Looking for a Sr. Engineer with experience in the research, development, operation, and management of environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS). Designing the ECLSS for manned and unmanned spacecraft
- Developing requirements and preliminary design of key components for a next-generation space suit
- Specifying component performance requirements and developing the master equipment list for spacecraft ECLSS. Developing standardized designs of environmental control and life support systems and thermal control systems for commercial spacecraft
- Developing and reviewing plans to manufacture, test, and verify the operation of new spacecraft life support and thermal control systems
ECLSS tasks will include, but are not limited to, operation of systems under test, conceptual design, detail design and fabrication, data analysis, reporting, defining needs and requirements, and proposal writing. For consideration, please send your resume to pmontoya@kforce.com.

| Requirements: Our client is seeking a Degreed engineers ranging from BS to Doctorate. Candidates with working knowledge of environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS). Qualified candidates will have 7-10 years of experience on projects producing low-cost, highly reliable closed-loop life support systems for applications in human-rated spacecraft operating in the hostile and remote environment of space.
