| Description: Our client is looking for someone to support their legacy and internet applications driving the merchandising and sales for the direct-to-consumer business. This person supports industry-standard direct-to-consumer functionality and interface technologies that enable multi-channel commerce. This person will provide first-level support for web uptime/stability; optimizes outsourced web functionality to drive business results and meet competitive standards; and manages/supports daily operational tasks, as needed, to run the business across legacy and internet platforms. This person supports order management aspects of the business cycle and promotes a cohesive customer experience across channels; understands the impact of merchandising, planning and operations on back-end reporting and improves processes with actionable, accountable recommendations that appear in results. This person will be the primary owner of web-store support and responsible for documenting and automating daily routine tasks. This person supports application and database monitoring for direct-to-consumer systems to meet uptime standards; reports key operating metrics for the web business to contribute to full-cycle decision support for web/phone/mail sales; and will support and maintain system jobs and critical interfaces to warehouse, order processing, and reporting.

| Requirements: Excellent verbal, written and relationship management abilities are required. This is primarily data-driven and uses process, procedure and system metrics to measure problems and the impact of improvements. Candidates must have a fundamental understanding of database-driven applications and open tools/languages. The ability to learn and support production SQL and scripted tools including writing extracts is required. Experience with standard report-writing tools, MS SQL Reporting Services experience is a plus. Experience with Ecometry, .Net Framework, Vendornet and/or Taurus (Ecomodate) or relative direct-to-consumer solutions is a plus. Candidates must be proficient in standard MS Windows based applications and standards to support users in their roles. Candidates must be critical and process-oriented/resource-availability approach to multi-tasking.
