| Description: This is a contract position based in Santa Ana, CA. Our client needs a strong messaging engineer to assist with their messaging infrastructure. The client supports over 120 domains, they have over 45,000 mailboxes globally, and this group manages the routing of all incoming and outgoing emails. The candidate will be providing support to this group, lots of interface with internal users on email issues etc.
This is a three month contract position in Santa Ana, CA with possibility for extension.

Requirements: This person must be very polished, exemplary customer services and communication skills; and must be comfortable working with quarantined/impounded email - this may include potentially sensitive or proprietary information. An ideal candidate for this position would come out of a large environment, ideally with an ISP or large enterprise environment with 10,000+ mailboxes and multiple domains.
Requirements:
- Must be highly skilled with DNS
- Some experience with Cisco IronPort appliance
- Good experience with email encryption
- Good experience with LDAP
- Must know SMTP and POP mail protocols inside and out
- Some experience with MS OCS and Linux is preferred
