Description: This candidate will provide technical framework to ensure alignment of information technology with business strategies.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Focuses on developing and maintaining business process, information/data, application, and technology architectures to help manage the company environment and to facilitate changing needs based upon new business developments
- Provide technical leadership for developing and maintaining company's information architecture
- Responsible for leading and engaging in information/data management projects including the Client Information Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the logical information architecture that enables seamless information interoperability of all Client systems from Point of Sale Systems, transaction systems, document management systems and information delivery systems
- Develop information architectures aligned with information lifecycle management
- Perform conceptual, logical and physical data modeling with data modeling tools and database design in complex, large scale data environment
- Develop data models that support transactional data and interface files that obtain information from different sources
- Create enterprise models incorporating master and reference data
- Creation of data dictionaries, defining metadata management approaches and governance processed
- Develop and implement IT architecture plans, Enterprise Information Architecture standard and guidelines, and software development methodologies
- Develop data sharing standards and architecting scalable service oriented solutions

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or software or systems engineering, information systems management or equivalent field is recommended; strong industry experience may substitute
- Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA) Infrastructure, Solutions, Exchange Server, SharePoint, SQL Server
- 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise information/data related disciplines, i.e., data modeling, architecture and integration
- This is a restaurant or retail company environment in this role
- Strong facilitation skills to engage SME's to define data requirements and conduct data modeling design reviews with project teams. Proficient in Windows Server, MS Office and JD Edwards is preferred
- Proficient in analytical reporting systems such as MicroStrategy. Ideally, in restaurant or retail PoS Systems data structures and interface routines
- Application modeling languages/techniques including the ability to create and read the associated diagrams
- Transaction and information systems, data warehouse, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies and life cycle as well as ETL and MDM technologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Occasional travel
