Description:  The PPMS (Physician Practice Management System) System Analyst II performs a variety of analysis and technical system administration functions for the Medical Institute's Financial Department, Business Office and Clinic Support. This position has an area of emphasis in providing financial reporting support to the executive finance team and application system support to the Physician Billing Department. This person uses considerable judgment and diversified knowledge in planning and executing implementations, on-going support, and customizations to the PPMS. This person researches and recommends methodologies to enhance and/or improve current processes within the Medical Institute's Business Office, Financial, and functional clinic areas; maintains the California Regional application dictionaries across all modules of the PPMS applications; and maintains a high level of expertise relative to new software releases and emerging technologies by attending vendor training workshops, seminars, etc. This person also develops user training curriculums, provides training to users and revises curriculums as needed for all of the Medical Institute's entities as it pertains to the Physician Practice Management System.
Requirements:  This requires three years of recent, relevant experience as either a System Analyst or high level user of I/S support in a Business Office setting. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with IDX Flowcost/GE Centricity Practice Management as either a System Analyst, or high level end user with the capabilty of producing custom financial reports. Strong working knowledge of Billing and Accounts Receivables best practices and workflows and strong written and verbal communications are required. Working knowledge of various reporting tools (DBMS, SQL+, Crystal Reports) is required. Extensive and excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required. Candidates must have basic training and knowledge of local and wide area networks. This person will demonstrate high level skills using standard desktop applications (Exchange, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
