Description: Our client is seeking a Sr. SQL Server DBA for a permanent position in SLC, Utah.
Duties include:
- Design, implement, and optimize database(s)
- Write stored procedures to support database activities
- Manage the release process for database environments
- Support data manipulation, generation, and cleanup requirements
- Manage evolution of database environments throughout the software development cycle
- Support the database needs of the Internal Business Systems department

- MS SQL server 2005/2008 administration and development
- Expert with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
- Expert with Data Warehouses
- Expert with Data Cubes
- Expert with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- ETL Experience
- Replication Services
- Database Modeling
- Data Quality concepts
- Performance Tuning
- Clustering and High Availability
- Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience with software development process and release management
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 5+ years of experience as a database developer or database administrator
- 5+ years of MS SQL Server experience
- .NET experience
- Knowledge and experience with Dynamics GP is a plus
