Description:  The Essential Responsibility of a Supervisor of Operational Reporting is to Manage the Process of Providing:
  • Management reporting on the key metrics and performance indicators for each assigned business unit within loan servicing
  • Operational and exception reporting to the various business units in loan servicing
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis to assist in making strategic and operations decisions
To accomplish this, the Supervisor of Operational Reporting must:
  • Ensure data integrity for the data sourced from the servicing system and other supporting sub-systems
  • Work closely with assigned business unit managers to understand their requirements and create reporting to meet those needs
  • Participate in the business process and workflow; interacting with technical and non-technical staff to articulate technical concepts
Summary of Essential Job Function:
  • Manage a staff of information analysts, data analysts, and SQL developers (2-4 associates)
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure that requirements conform to overall objectives and specifications
  • Manage assignments, technical / functional content and resourcing
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and reporting analysts
  • Maintain and expand internal and external client relationships through the delivery of high quality work
  • Seek, obtain, monitor, and analyze feedback from clients to improve systems, processes, and reporting
  • Provide support relevant to areas of expertise
  • Be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading tasks and projects as well as ensuring the quality of the deliverables
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:  Operational Reporting Supervisor Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the use of SQL, Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in reporting / analytics for mortgage loan servicing
  • 5+ years of total work experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services or similar tool preferred
  • Experience in business process analysis and improvement strategies preferred
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials (preferred)
