Description: The Associate Systems Administrator participates as a key member of the Global Operations Center Team. This team is responsible for 24x7 operational support of our eCommerce sites and corporate infrastructure; providing troubleshooting of applications and hardware (servers / network devices). The Associate Systems Administrator must possess significant work experience in a production, mission-critical, revenue-dependent, and 24x7 environment. This individual must demonstrate proficiency with Windows 2000/2003 Server, UNIX / Linux, networking (TCP/IP), single domain model concepts (AD), and share / file access security concepts. The qualified applicant has technical expertise relating to standard hardware and software products and can assist with the installation and configuration of software deployments. The ASA will be accountable for maintaining and updating standards, policies, procedures, and documentation. The ASA must be able to follow defined processes to ensure that the production and corporate environments maintain SOX and PCI compliance.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide internal operational support for a wide variety of clustered systems, stand-alone servers, applications, load balancers, various network LAN/WAN devices, batch processes, and databases for corporate and eCommerce infrastructure
- Monitor all of our client's systems for failures
- Provide investigation of day-to-day live-site issues on eCommerce and Corporate Systems in a mixed-mode environment
- Monitor connectivity health and status of our 3rd party partners
- Manage and triage multiple incidents in parallel
- Provide notification and escalation for maintenance and outage activities
- Follow prescribed procedures and document all work performed in the ticketing system

Requirements: IT Operations Analyst Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in computer operations, production control, or other IT related field (highly preferred)
- Knowledge of Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP, UNIX, and Linux Operating Systems is required
- Familiarity with Windows 2000, Windows 2003, or Windows XP (basic troubleshooting)
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Familiarity with UNIX basic troubleshooting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to multi-task and work as team or individual contributor
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
