Title:  Microsoft Help Desk

Description:  The Microsoft Help Desk position includes, but is not limited to:
  • VMware host and guest builds
  • VMware administration
  • Work with Application, DBA, Network, and O/S support groups to maintain optimal performance of supported servers
  • Facilitate the opening cases with Microsoft to address O/S and 3rd party Application related issues
  • Monthly patching of supported Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Participate in the Department's on-call rotation of the 24x7 coverage of all supported environments
  • Work with non-Application software (O/S, etc.)
  • Provide Citrix support
  • Provide Marimba support
  • Provide McAfee Support
  • Network connectivity
  • Physical and logical security
  • Maintain and provide support for hardware, software, disk sub-Systems, and file-Systems
  • Manage and resolve issues from monitoring tool alarms
  • Maintain security patches and service packs on all supported Operating Systems
  • Create / maintain printer queues and/or IDs
  • MS Project initiatives
  • Develop / Support Disaster Recovery Procedures and Process
  • Support ACI Project management in SOW generation; cost estimates for new initiatives
  • Work with the implementation of conversions, new Applications, and environments
  • Make recommendations on future technology
