Description: Our client is seeking a Microsoft Specialist.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Develop/Support Disaster Recovery Procedures / Process
- Support ACI Project management in SOW generation, cost estimates for new initiatives
- Implementation of Conversions and new applications and environments
- Recommendations on future technology
- Maintain and provide support for hardware, software, disk subsystems, and file-systems
- Manage and resolve issues from monitoring tool alarms
- Maintain security patches and service packs on all supported O/S
- Create/maintain printer queues and/or IDs
- Work with application, DBA, and Network and O/S support groups to maintain optimal performance of supported servers
- Facilitate the opening cases with Microsoft to address O/S and 3rd party application related issues
- Monthly patching of supported Microsoft O/S
- Participate in the department on-call rotation 24x7 coverage of all supported environments
