Description: The Financial Analyst position focus emphasizes Financial Modeling; long -term planning including 5-year year Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows/Liquidity, providing ad-hoc analysis as needed, and assisting in the verification of budget and actual data. The role will also provide additional assistance in modeling and trend analysis.
Essential Job Duties:
- Lead the collection and analysis of historical and pro forma data for use in the compilation of the 5-year Plan across multiple companies and operating units
- Manage the Cash/Treasury Forecasting process
- Audit and analyze budgets and projections
- Manage the compilation of management reporting packages for the Business Review and prepare Management Discussion and Analysis write-up
- Reconcile various reports across departments
- Variance analysis and trending on key performance indicators
- Provide ad-hoc support as to corporate management and Business unit requests
- Test and suggest new reports in response to current Business issues
- Establish and maintain systems to analyze and report key performance metrics to aid management in the identification of improvement opportunities and internal best practices

Requirements: This position requires someone who is detail oriented, analytical and a fast learner.
Prerequisites for the job (items are required unless noted otherwise):
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance
- MBA is preferred
- 2-3+ years of relevant experience in finance
- Large corporate experience is highly preferred
- Expertise in MS Excel and very strong skills in PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to solve problems and develop creative recommendations in an environment with limited standardization
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities, while managing to established and aggressive deadlines
- Effective and strong communication skills, including: the ability to listen to the needs of others, research and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present findings as well as recommendations in both oral and written presentations
