| Description: Our client is the nation's leader in providing data, voice and wireline services to both the consumer and B2B marketplace. Our client is currently looking for 1-2 Sr. Project managers who can help drive multiple projects associated with LTE (Long Term Evolution) initiatives. These projects are scheduled to launch at the end of 2010 so we will need candidates who can commit to a long term engagement and even be open to conversion to an FTE for a client long term.

Requirements: The ideal candidate have strong Project Management skills and primarily strong technical knowledge of the wireless network within the project functions are required and used in the performance of the job. Candidates must understand technical documentation and be able to manage the document deliverables across several technical organizations. The ideal candidate will also have launched wireless products and/or services into the network with strong understanding of wireless network elements. The candidate should possess detailed knowledge of the project Management lifecycle from initiation to closure. PMP certification is a plus, but not required; although the candidate should be working towards PMP certification. The candidate needs to be a self starter who can build and foster collaborative relationships. They must have excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate must also be able to work on a team of Project Managers to support a large initiative. Project Management skills and wireless network technical knowledge within the project functions are required and utilized during the course of the job. The work involves project managing, documentation control and leading projects that are moderate in scope include multiple functional organizations located remotely across the country.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of project Management skills, attention to detail and drive to complete projects are required
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience is required; Master's is preferred
- Self motivated with the ability to consistently achieve desired results: have strong multi-tasking capabilities with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Strong systems background, strong comprehension of technical documentation, good oral and written communications, leadership skills, problem solving, teamwork and consensus building skills
