| Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Web Administrator. This is a 24/7 position, which requires the administrator to work the 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM PST shift. Candidates who are qualified and interested are encouraged to apply.

Requirements: Candidates must have experience with both experience in both Web Hosting Administration and some .NET development experience (candidates must have both). The completion of a Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Technical Certification, etc. and/or 5+ years of experience is required. Strong IIS 6 and 7 and Windows Server 2003 skills are necessary. Candidates must have experience in .NET Framework installation and performance tuning. Experience in developing and debugging complex ASP.NET web applications is required. Experience in developing .NET Windows applications such as console applications or Windows services is required. Basic understanding of SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2 Database clients, as well as basic query syntax is essential. Candidates must have a general understanding of TCP/IP networks, HTTP, and DNS technologies; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and strong knowledge of web applications and infrastructure. Strong knowledge of distributed systems is required. Experience in application architecture, design, and development is a plus.
Desired Skills:
- F5 Load Balancers or other load balancing technology
- Java development experience
- Administration of LDAP systems such as IDS, iPlanet, or eDirectory
- Linux and Apache experience
- Helpful to have some IBM WebSphere experience
