| Description: Our client, a leading entertainment company in Los Angeles, is looking for a Staff Accountant. This person will be responsible for assisting Finance Managers located in the Los Angeles Office. Tasks include preparing journal entries to record show settlement activity; creating invoices to venues and vendors; coding event related payables, road checks and expense reports; organizing, auditing and reconciling showfiles; communicating with operations and road personnel; reconciling G/L accounts; assisting in the preparation of reports for management; miscellaneous projects for Finance Managers. This person will assist in researching outstanding items (receivables, payables) on Balance Sheet analysis.

Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Accounting is preferred; AA Degree and industry experience will be considered
- Strong interpersonal and organization skills are a must
- The candidate must have the ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task while on deadline
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; specifically Excel, experience in JD Edwards is preferred
- Excellent people and communication skills
