This person will bring java development expertise to assist the Client in achieving short term and long term expectations and goals. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of Java programming and 6+ years of OOA/OOD. These positions require someone with strong technical skills as well as the ability to work with customers and stake holders. We need someone with demonstrated success and strong experience with problem-solving abilities. One who has experience with the complete SDLC and has provided quality and on-time delivery. You will need strong leadership skills and verbal communication skills along with the proven ability to work well in cross-organizational teams.
Nice to have technical skills:
- Experience with Java 1.5 or later
- JDO and/or Kodo experience is highly desireable
- Experience using Rational Rose, ClearCase and ClearQuest
- Unix shell scripting
- Integrated Development Environment - Eclipse, WSAD, RAD
- XML
- Code review and static analysis
Nice to have non-technical skills:
- Project Management skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Airline Industry experience
