Description: The Architect will lead the design of redundant, highly capable systems to support multiyear datacenter requirements in the following areas:
- DC and AC power plant and PDU infrastructure
- HVAC systems
- Facility space planning and physical layout of equipment
- Physical security systems
- Copper and fiber structured cabling systems
- Work cross functionally with IP, server, transport, microwave and RF engineering teams to generate standard designs for Client facilities based on business requirements
- Qualify network equipment for data center use, characterize the facilities requirements and manage integration into designs
- Generate engineering design packages used by the installation teams, manage the handoff process and resolve design issues during installation
- Perform design, integration testing and implementation in conjunction with technology teams. Establish KPIs during design phase; ensure test plans are adequate to verify KPIs can be met with new systems

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in data center design and implementation
- Experience managing vendors and outsourcing companies
- Extensive design experience with large scale DC and AC power systems, HVAC systems and structured cabling
- Experience with networking equipment, knowledge of routing and switching fundamentals and understanding of out of band management systems
- Experience with and knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data centers
- Strong process focus and project management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Bachelors degree in technical discipline is required
