Description:  Kforce is seeking an experienced professional Sales Engineer with experience selling Managed IT Services to mid to large organizations. Candidates will require and must be well-versed in the art of complex selling by utilizing proven solution / consultative selling methodologies and skill sets. This professional must be extremely proficient in prospecting, networking, and relationship building throughout client organizations to include all C-level executives. The selected Sales Professional must be an assertive over-achiever with strong communications skills and a consistent track record of increased sales. This person will provide proof of a quota over-attainment and an industry reputation for competence, professionalism, and integrity. Functions:
  • Target Sales Market: Medium- to large companies
  • Target Verticals: Fortune 5,000 Commercial and Critical Infrastructure
  • Target Contracts: $20K-$100K Monthly Reoccurring Revenue; $1M-$5M Total Contract Value
Product and Services:
  • IT Outsourcing, Managed IT Services, Application Hosting and Management, Remote Management, and monitoring of client systems
  • Monitoring and Management of WAN / LAN, Network Device Design and Functionality, Service Desk, Thin Client Solutions (Citrix), Network Security, Data Networking, Internet, IT Consulting, IT Professional Services, and Application Development
Managed IT Services and Solutions:
  • Enterprise Server Management - Windows 2008/2003/Active
  • Directory with some Linux
  • Virtualization solutions and services - VMWare ESX
  • Storage SAN / NAS Managed IT Services - Hosted EMC, Clarion, Symmetrix, and HP-EVA
  • Hosted Database and SharePoint - design and implementation Management of IIS, SQL, Oracle, SharePoint, and MOSS

Requirements:  Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years in selling outsourcing information technology / managed services to medium to large-sized clients
  • Closing and managing between $2M - $5M in sales per year
  • Closing average contract values of$1M - $5M
  • Technical Skill Set Selling: Outsourced IT Managed services, Hosting, Remote network monitoring, WAN/ LAN topologies, Network Device Design and Functionality, Managed Security (firewall/ IDS), Thin Client Solutions (Citrix), Network Security, IT Consulting, Data Networking, Internet, Software Development, and Outsourced Application Management and Hosting
  • Familiar with and has the ability to articulate the advantages of Managed Services, Business Continuity, Application Hosting, Remote Management and Monitoring, Software Development, and IT Outsourcing
  • Should have completed a structured sales training program
Degree Required:
  • BA / BS Degree
Travel Requirement:
  • 25% travel is required
