Description: Our client is looking for a Senior Level Test Engineer to join their team.
In this role, the successful candidate will:
- Coordinate and lead testing Automation efforts across multiple product teams
- Provide technical leadership in the adoption and use of testing tools like QTP for testing windows-based and web-based applications
- Develop and maintain automation scripts
- Plan, design, and execute tests for key common components, e.g. Security
- Plan and conduct various types of testing: functional, integration, regression, and load testing

Requirements: Interested candidates must have the following:
- BS Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software products
- Extensive experience with Testing Automation tools such as QTP, and LoadRunner
- In depth knowledge of planning, design and execution of all aspects of testing including Functional, Integration, Load, and Regression testing
- Experience with testing Web and Windows applications
- Knowledge and hands-on use of SQL databases: Oracle and/or SQL Server
- Experience with XML and scripting tools like JavaScript are a big plus
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective troubleshooting skills in resolving complex issues
