Title:  Sales / Systems Engineer

Compensation:  $24.00 to $29.00 per Hour

Description:  Do you want to make a successful impact on a rapidly growing company with locations worldwide? If so, we have a great opportunity to support our client's local sales and account efforts as a System Security Staff Engineer in their Carrollton, Texas office working with Security Customers, focusing on security projects supporting facilities of critical infrastructure. Other Duties Include:
  • Provide support to business development for security oriented systems and system designs for proposals
  • Assist with site walk thru and site installation evaluations
  • Assist with evaluation of security vendor's equipment for project selections, our AIM Security products with RFPs and other vendors and suggest product development
  • Generate equipment material BOMs and estimates
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations to include configuration and set-up
  • Work with internal proposal teams
  • Provide technical writing inputs for various commercial projects
  • Assist with the reviews for technical aspects of system solutions
  • Respond to RFPs and requests for information
  • Attend regional and national trade shows on our client's behalf
  • Provide sales status reports
  • Provide account management support for system deployments for enhancements and upgrades for technology add-ons
  • Demonstrate knowledge on security system technology components
Requirements:  Sales / Systems Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in EE preferred, would consider MIS or an EE working on/just completed a Master's
  • The ideal candidate will have three (3) or more years of Physical Security Design with a background in designs, proposals, knowledge of video (analog and digital) and access control
Other requirements include:
  • Knowledge of security systems, communications, and networks
  • You must be a self starter, problem solver, and have the ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Dynamic personality, a "people" person

  • Experience with DoE, utilities, or other critical infrastructure market segment, security technology, proposal, and account management
