Description: The individual will be responsible for monthly balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, overhead variance analysis, month end close and budgeting preparation etc.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:
- Train and supervise two individual staffs, make sure everything is timely prepared and accurately filed, including but not limited to business license, annual tax, sales tax, property tax etc.
- Responsible for month end close reports
- Prepare monthly OPA reports (Out of Period Adjustments) and responsible for variance explanation
- Prepare monthly JEs. Familiar with GAAP
- Prepare OH variance analysis. Coordinate with regions re: monthly accrual. Ensure overhead is accurately accrued and stated
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in year-end audit preparation and budget preparation
- Ad hoc analytical reports
- Additional duties as assigned

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Supervisory skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Detail and self-motivated
- An Accounting degree is required
- 5+ years of accounting experience; heavy experience in bank reconciliation, sales tax, property tax, balance sheet reconciliation, year-end workpaper preparation, and financial audit etc.
- Oracle experience is beneficial or other large ERP system
