Description:  Essential Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting routine product issues (Incident Tracking and Resolution)
  • Develop, collect, maintain, and distribute key technology metrics both in Real Time and historical on the revenue generating products
  • Develop and maintain a metrics dashboard which is primarily responsible for communicating Real Time product availability status and historical key performance indicators to technology and segment management
  • Recommend new technology products (hardware, software, and disaster recovery) that can be leveraged as part of the software development lifecycle
  • Participate as an active member in the software development lifecycle, through attending new feature requirements reviews and developing leading edge processes to support these new product enhancements
  • Act as a liaison to the business segment, facilitating communication between Development, QA, Product Management, Technical Operations, and Segment business leaders on new product releases, technical outages, and routine
  • Utilize effective communication and presentation to key business stakeholders (instrumental)
  • Develop, facilitate, and maintain best of breed product support tools including run books, monitoring, and knowledge bases to aid in the product support process
Requirements:  To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Systems Administration Qualifications:
  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent Business degree and a minimum 5 years of professional technology experience are required
Must have 3+ years of experience in the following technologies:
  • Windows 2000/2003 systems
  • Solaris 10
  • .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, Windows Services, and Web Services)
  • ASP
  • XML and XSLT using MSXML
  • JavaScript, HTML, and SOAP
  • Source code versioning repositories and packaging
  • Basic understanding of TCP / IP, routing, and firewall security
  • Demonstrated ability of delivering software projects to production and supporting those projects effectively
  • Ability to work as a team player in a 24 by 7 support organization
  • Extremely effective communication and presentation skills across all levels in the organization
  • Ability to collaborate with product management, development, Technical Operations, and business segment marketing teams on every day projects
  • Experience working in the financial industry (a plus)
