Description: This role will design and program a licensee complaint system for the Department of Banking and Insurance using the Business Requirement Document. This person will work as senior member of a 3 person team. This person will participate with the creation of a BRD as a senior team member; and will lead the team with Oracle 10g design.
Role Description:
- Guide processes for Functional Architects and direct work planning and design activities
- Provide standard, well-structures work planning which defines scope, resources, commitments, quality, risks, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure that overall application designs remain within project scope
- Work with customer business units to understand their business processes
- Work with customer business units and clients to identify direction of software
- Ensure business requirements are supported by the software
- Ensure goals for Functional Architects are being met and manage team commitments.
- Analyze, define, and document how the applications will support functional and business requirements
- Coordinate these efforts with Functional Architects
- Understand supporting/interfacing system applications
- Approve the determined need for new software/hardware
- Understand prioritizing work based on business needs requests
- Releases for work affecting an application
- Manage the accomplishment of delivery metrics, Service Level Agreements and other contractual obligations within areas of responsibility
- Sponsor coordination of the required skills, training, methodologies, and processes to ensure the success of the team/project/program goals
- Coordinate and conduct project review meetings with Group Lead Functional Architects and Team Leads

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- 5 plus years in particular application area
- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
- 5 years of Java is required
- 5 years of Oracle 10g design is required
- 5 years of HTML
- 3 years of XML
- 1 year of Netbeans IDE is nice to have
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with creating a BRD is required
- Team Lead experience is highly desired
