Description: The Director of Government Compliance will provide the interpretation and application of government regulations to company. S/he will also provide leadership, guidance and assistance to each of the business units concerning government accounting matters. Serve as a focal point with DCAA.
Functions:
- Develop new policies and procedures for the company that is compliant with regulations
- Maintain disclosure statements
- Prepare and negotiate - forward pricing rates, incurred cost submissions, cost impacts resulting from accounting changes, and advance agreements, as appropriate
- Support implementation of strategic realignments or new structures as initiated by management
- Lead the integration of government accounting practices within company.
- Maintain government compliance awareness within firm through company-sponsored training or other internal communications

Requirements: Director of Government Compliance Qualifications:
- Requires a 4 year BS/BA degree in Business or Accounting
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a government contracting environment
- Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance management
- Must have proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of Tools
- Must have exposure to business systems including Oracle, CostPoint, and others
