| Description: A major client, located in New York City, is seeking a Business Analyst. The Client's Enterprise Data Group (EDG) is responsible for creating and maintaining solutions to manage reference data on behalf of the Firm. In addition to providing enterprise-wide data and services via stable, resilient, and scalable platforms, the group is focused on reducing the Firm's risk by integrating these applications to the Front, Middle, and Back Office functions of the Firm. The opportunity is for an accomplished Project Manager / Business Analyst to join the EDG Team. This individual will play a vital role in partnering with internal clients to define and deliver solutions to meet the needs of the business. This role will work with the Business, IT, and Operations to define solutions that ensure data is complete, timely, accurate, and suitable to meet the functional needs of the Business. This individual will be will be responsible to produce requirements, specifications, and a variety of models to ensure that defined solution is well understood by all the various stakeholders and meets the business objectives. This individual will be responsible to monitor, control, and report status on the project to ensure the objectives are achieved on time and budget.

Requirements: Experience Must Include:
- Degree in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar area of study
- 10+ years of experience as an Applications Developer or Business Analyst within the Financial Service Industry
- 10+ years of reliably defining and delivering solutions
- 10+ years of working in a data management concentric environment
- 5+ years of experience functioning as Solution Architect
- 5+ years of experience defining business processes and/or operating models
- 5+ years of experience performing technical writing
- 5+ years of experience performing project management
- Demonstrated capability of working in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment
- Demonstrated leadership and maturity to work closely with internal clients, stakeholders, and support teams
- Proven ability to lead and work autonomously
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings, conduct structured analysis, and build consensus across various lines of business
- Expert functioning as a Solution Architect
- Excellent understanding of data management
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient at performing data analysis
- Broad industry knowledge with an understanding of how down-stream business processes leverage reference data
- Proficient with SQL, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint
