Description: A major client, located in Berge County, is seeking a Software Engineer/Technical Support.
Software Engineer/Technical Support responsibilities include:
- Telephone and email technical support with customers
- On-site problem resolution (typically 10% travel)
- Analyzing software systems problems and communicating solutions and workarounds, advice and suggestions
- Software debugging and fix creation (C, C++, Java)
- Designing and developing proprietary software, technologies and products on Windows and UNIX platforms
- Defining system requirements/specifications, design and code review packages
- Software change management

Requirements: The skills, experience, and education required for this position include the following:
- MS in Comp Engineering, Comp Science or related field (3.4 GPA or higher); 2+ years of work experience is desirable
Experienced in:
- Enterprise class data protection and other storage mgmt software
- LANs/WANs, clusters, Storage area networks, SCSI interfaces, storage devices (disk, tape, filers, libraries, RAID)
- Systems programming and support for Windows, UNIX/Linux, Novell Netware and Novell Open Enterprise Server Exchange, SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, GroupWise, SAP, Lotus Notes
