Description: A local dynamic organization is looking for a Director of Internal Audit.
This person should be innovative, a great communicator, highly-energetic, creative, and driven. This person must have experience with U.S. and International Audits (specifically in Asia). They need to have presented to the Board of Directors and Audit committee. This person should be a unique global leader with a desire to grow their career outside of an audit capacity. They will also be responsible for supervising and developing staff. This will be a hands-on role with defined growth potential. The ideal candidate will have public accounting as well as industry experience in audit.
This position helps ensure business is managed to the appropriate level of risk while making certain the objectives of the organization are accomplished and the directives of management are carried out.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor / test the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
- Implement testing and follow-up of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
- Recommend improvements and consult in the implementation process
- Determine the appropriate scope of individual examinations for the annual audit plan
- Ensure audit approach is adapted to the risk factors identified
- Ensure proper communication between management and the Audit Committee on key findings and judgment
- Supervise and develop staff

Requirements: Director of Internal Audit Qualifications:
- Public accounting
- Industry experience including International
- 10-15 years of experience
- Advanced Certification (CPA, MBA, and CIA)
