Description: Be responsible for various general accounting functions including the monthly, quarterly, and annual close functions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile program data and internal business data to G/L accounts
- Reconcile and review reinsurance statements for programs sent to reinsures and/or intermediaries
- Assure adherence to contract language and ties to General Ledger
- Prepare and review financial data for monthly, quarterly, and year-end financials
- Review and settle inter-company accounts
- Review all bank reconciliations
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements: Senior Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or the equivalent in related work experience)
- Must have 5+ years of insurance accounting work experience
- MS Word, MS Excel (advanced), and MS Access (intermediate)
