| Description: Our client is seeking a Physicist. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This person will assist with providing guidance and multi-disciplined leadership to evaluate/resolve client needs/problems for any of the fields of science concerned with matter, energy, physical space, time, nature of physical measurement and fundamental structural particles. This person formulates projects and conducts experiments using advanced equipment and by applying complex techniques, designs, and procedures. This person will assist with the efforts of multiple teams/persons to achieve optimum overall results in a timely manner and at a minimum cost. The candidate will conduct detailed analysis of foreign nuclear, directed energy and kinetic anti-satellite weapons systems, associated infrastructure, and provide engineered assessments of those capabilities.

Requirements: Candidates have a working knowledge of Federal and State rules and regulations relevant to health physics programs. Generally, a Bachelor of Science degree and 8 years of experience or the combined equivalent is required. A Graduate degree is preferred. Expertise in MATLAB/SIMULINK is required.
Required Supervision:
- Normally receives no supervision on tasks
- Receives instructions as to the general results expected
- Technical Leadership
- May have some customer liaison responsibilities
- May be responsible for managing and motivating some staff
