Description: Kforce is seeking an Project Manager Engineer.
Functions:
- SALES SUPPORT (65%) - PSI, Inc. and PSI, and BV
- Evaluate Customer Problems, Issues, and Product Needs
- Review PIC submitted by FSRs
- Review needs and requirements
- Work with FSRs and CCRs as necessary to understand application
- Conference Calls or Meetings with Customers / Prospects
- Direct discussions with FSRs / CCRs
- Perform necessary testing
- Develop solutions
- Prepare samples or prototypes
- Develop, design, order, and or create Prototype Tooling
- Request new materials as needed
- Manufacture samples or prototypes
- Determine means of production
- Determine equipment needs
- Determine set-up time, production speeds, and labor requirements
- Determine tooling needs
- Determine material usage
- Determine material types
- Determine material usage, yield, and scrap
- Determine packaging requirements
Evaluate needs for and suppliers of:
- Equipment
- Tooling
- Materials
- Packaging
- Prepare Recipe Cards to support the Quoting and New Part Number Processes
- Participate in Weekly Project Management Meetings
- Act as resource for FSRs and CCRs, answering day to day questions, and reviewing ongoing applications
Manufacturing Support (25%) - PSI, INC and PSI, and BV
- Support Advanced Product Quality Process
For New Part Numbers:
- Prepare Package for New Part Number Review
- Develop and Input Set-Up Sheet and Parameters
- Develop and Input Work Instructions
- Develop and Input Quality Procedures
- Develop and Input Packaging Instructions
- Develop and Input Bill of Materials and Router (pat currently inputs)
- Hold New Part Number Review Meetings as appropriate
- Participate in 1st Production Runs as needed
- Run 1st Production Runs on BERT or Production Equipment as needed
- Maintain and Track Manufacturing Sign-Off Log of New Part Numbers
- Hold Manufacturing Sign-off of New Part Number meetings

Requirements: Project Management Qualifications:
- BSME
- Project Management and SolidWorks design experience
