Description:  Kforce Consulting is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for a long term contract position in Cincinnati, Ohio. General Purpose of Position:
  • This position requires a Project Manager with a strong, consistent, and recent focus in infrastructure implementations (deployment planning, pilots, and roll-outs across large, geographically dispersed sites)
  • Deliver a project on time, within budget, while meeting the client's expectations
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of departmental technology projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
  • Share responsibility for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology projects for a given business unit
  • Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives
  • Monitor project activities
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • IT project planning to include cost, schedule, and deliverables to meet business needs
  • Manage a budget for a program under direct control
  • Serve as a project liaison with a business unit
  • Be the client interface for roll-out coordination, prioritization, and task management
  • Be the supplier interface for programs under direct control
  • Information systems project execution including testing, documentation, and support transition
  • Handle project risk management
  • Handle business case development / tracking including total project cost
  • Track performance criteria for project success criteria
Requirements:  Infrastructure Project Manager Qualifications:
  • Experience in implementing enterprise network projects in highly diverse and geographically distributed environment on time, on budget, with a high business fit
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
  • High level of analytical ability
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Education and/or Training:
  • Undergraduate degree required in Business, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an Information Technology focus (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology project management discipline across diverse application areas and technologies
  • Project Management Certification is preferred
