Description: Our client is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support the Treasury Department Managers and Senior Treasury Analysts in the overall operation of the Treasury Department. This role may receive guidance or advice from senior analysts, more seasoned analysts or the manager.
Duties include:
- Perform activities relating to either Cash Management Operations or Investments and Debt Programs as directed by the Managers
- Perform analysis and provide information in developing recommendations on a variety of treasury activities including, but not limited to, investment activity, banking relationships, cash management, and investor relations
- Assist in implementing funding and investment strategies for corporate assets
- Prepare materials for external security analysts
- Conduct lease versus buy analyses
- Monitor company's cost of capital, etc.
- Participate as part of a team in treasury and the broader area of finance

Requirements: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include (items are required unless noted otherwise):
- Strong technical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related area
- 3-5 years of experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand the complexities of and a strong interest in working with debt transactions, investments, cash management, or banking
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills, often with members of multidisciplinary teams
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong personal computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers to proactively identify and fill needs
- Ability to work productively as part of a team
Preferred:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience preferably in the accounting, finance, banking or investments fields
- Some knowledge of external reporting requirements mandated by local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies; including Internal Revenue Service, state Department of Revenue, Medicare, and Medicaid
