| Description: A large company in West Michigan is looking for an Audit Manager who has responsibility for the risk strategy. Responsibilities will include the implementation of the Assurance strategic plan, including evaluating and testing internal controls, identifying opportunities for improvement to senior management, and evaluating compliance of GAAP and accuracy of financial statements.
The internal audit department at this company is designed to be more consultative in partnering with other business units. As part of your role in internal audit, you will also be assigned various special assignments outside of audit to help broaden your professional development.
This position will travel approximately 10-15% both domestic and internationally.

| Requirements: The ideal candidate will have Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a CPA, CIA or CMA designation required. A minimum of five years of strong finance and accounting work experience in positions of increasing responsibility is required. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, and audit methodologies is necessary. This role will interface a lot with senior management; therefore, strong communication and presentation skills are also required.
