Title:  Customer Service Representative

Compensation:  $10.00 to $10.00 per Hour

Description:  Kforce has a 2 month contract for a Customer Service Representative. Functions:
  • Be responsible for performing all tasks and communication related to intake of patient information concerning the service of durable medical equipment and respiratory products and supplies with patients/clients, co-workers, and referral sources as it relates to patient services and third party reimbursement
  • Communicate with patients/clients and referral sources (verbally and in writing) to ensure patient/client questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate all patient information, process paperwork including preparation of file for Billing Department, and complete batch reports for UPS deliveries
  • Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures to meet company standards
  • Process paperwork-confirms tickets, input new patient set-ups, and assemble charts
  • Complete SOPs/CMNs and documents on tracking log
  • Verify Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage information
  • Clear previous day's route and check all paperwork for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare deposit for location on a weekly basis
  • Maintain the referral log
  • Provide service for all retail/walk-in equipment requests
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with updating respiratory grid
  • Monitor office supplies
  • Provide technical assistance to customers
  • Work with outside agencies to resolve customer issues
  • Prepare invoices for next day routes
  • Perform other duties as required

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in the medical field and administrative record management is preferred, but not required
  • Strong customer service background is preferred
Certifications, License, and Registrations:
  • None required

  • Knowledge of appropriate telephone etiquette
