Description: Kforce is seeking a Key Entry Data Technician for Electronic Imaging.
Basic Functions:
- Be responsible for data conversion functions that support company Web products, print production, and other data conversion needs
- This position digitized documents for paper or microforms using scanning equipment and software programs
- Scanned images are reviewed for completeness and quality of imagery using specialized software programs
- Scanned volumes are separated into individual documents
- Computer output files are renamed and stored in directory structures following a specific protocol
Accountabilities:
- Receive and interpret conversion instructions
- Utilize various software programs to create images, text, graphics, and other outputs
- Work collaboratively with other functional areas
- Follow assigned priorities and maintain required productive output
- Adjusting necessary settings for all the scanners
- Able to create a mapped drive from the network
- Create new folder(s), rename file(s) and move file(s) to proper locations
- Convert image to other formats such as GIF, PDF, RTF, HTML, etc.
- Table scraping, zoning, and correcting
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
Pay: $ 8.25/hr.

Requirements: Key Entry Operator Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Working knowledge of MS Windows and MS Excel
- Attention to detail
- Dependability
We require typing test results prior to interview. We are looking for candidates who can type 8,000 keystrokes per hour or better. The rate will increase when worker accomplishes 10,000 keystrokes an hour or better. Candidates must take a typing / keystrokes test. This is imperative.
