Description: A growing and established company in the Tucson, AZ area is looking for a Senior Product Engineer (Analog and Digital Circuits). We are looking for candidates nationwide willing to relocate to the Tucson, Arizona area. Once again, the position is in the Tucson, AZ area. The Product Engineer is responsible for the support and maintenance of existing signal conditioning, data acquisition and data communication product lines and their associated test equipment. Troubleshoot products which fail manufacturing tests and provide required fixes to manufacturing personnel.
Other Functions:
- Maintain and update existing ATE software and databases written in BASIC
- Make modifications to the software and databases as needed for optimization or inclusion of new products
- Review product performance and work with Design Engineers to determine circuit and/or test changes to maximize product yields and minimize product returns
- Maintain and update existing ATE hardware and PCB layouts for existing designs as well as build, troubleshoot, and qualify redundant hardware
- Maintain and update exiting ATE systems based on legacy PC installations with software running in a DOS environment
- Work with Design Engineers to build and qualify prototypes for existing circuit performance and/or manufacturing enhancements

Requirements: Senior Product Engineer Qualifications:
- BSEE Degree
- In-depth knowledge of analog and digital circuitry
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development
- Hands-on skills including working with power tools, hand wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly
- In-depth knowledge of Visual Basic or BASIC and DOS
- Proven track record of successful Production Support efforts
- Must be a fluent written and verbal communicator and able to use standard software such as Word and Excel
- Experience with Analog and Digital Circuits is required
- Programming in Visual Basic and Visual C++
- Experience and knowledge of Signal Conditioning, Data Acquisition, or Data communication products are a plus
