Description: Kforce is seeking a Patch Applications and Security Server Administrator for a client in Golden.
The Patch Applications Server Administrator will be responsible for various aspects of Patch Administration, Web Filtering, and Windows Server Administration.
Security Applications Administration includes, but is not limited to:
- MS Systems Management Server(s)
- Build and maintain SMS Server(s)
- Adhere to Standard Baseline Configuration Policy
- Maintain signatures and policies
- Administer all patches and security fixes
- Build and deliver software packages
- Monitor for performance and reliability
- Produce success / failure reports to ISSO on routine basis
- Troubleshoot issues
- Windows 2003 Server Administration and Network Infrastructure Administration (act as a back-up to the LAN Administrator)
- Websense URL Filtering Server(s)
- Build and maintain Websense URL Filtering server(s)
- Websense / URL filtering tools - server administration, URL Filtering, IP Address Blocking, filtering blocking (against spyware, malware, phishing, viruses, Internet fraud, blacklisting, and white-listing (this is a major plus - can train on this if need be)
- Adhere to Standard Baseline Configuration Policy
- Maintain signatures and policies
- Administer all patches and security fixes
- Monitor for performance and reliability
- Produce reports to ISSO on routine basis
- Troubleshooting issues

Requirements: Candidates must have solid Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory, GPO, and OU Administration experience.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience with Shavlik Patch management tools a plus
- Must have solid Systems Patch Administration (SMS is good - similar to Shavlik; you can train)
- SCCM - System Center Configuration Manager (formerly SMS) is good as well
- Patching, imaging, package deployment, verification testing, Service Pack (SP1 and SP2) upgrades, and security patch levels (both server and client)
- Windows 2003 Server Administration and Network Infrastructure Administration (act as a back-up to the LAN Administrator)
- Websense URL Filtering Server(s)
