Description: Our client is seeking a Tech Project Manager.
Specific functions of this position include:
- Manage the system development, integration, and sustainability of new capability into the Enterprise, both within and outside the Continental United States
- Provide management products and artifacts as required, adhering to the Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards
- Establish a strong technical base of knowledge for all military Intelligence projects
- Establish a deep understanding of the concept of operations and the relevance to the tactical and operational war fighter
- Manage financial aspects of various contracts
- Manage the implementation of specific government or commercial contracts
- Analyze program requirements and identify staffing needs, areas for improvement, and strategies for future program growth
- Interface with government customers and articulate a technical and operational vision for the program along with proposed plans to meet that vision
- Brief program status and priorities (internal and external)
- Interface with industry team members as required (negotiate work-share and articulate as well as advocate core competencies; and identify areas to accelerate program development)
- Integrate all functions and activities necessary to perform the project/program to ensure program goals and direction to meet the customer's requirements
- Provide leadership for overall concept of operations, fielding and integration strategies, and operational relevance of system capabilities
- Work with Project and Program technical leads to plan, organize, direct, and track major aspects of the project, including technology, schedules, costs, and contract/customer satisfaction
- Engage in development and subsequent management within program profit and loss metrics
- Assess performance of subordinates and coaches them to improve performance
- Participate in the bid

Requirements: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or Business Administration from an accredited college or university
- A minimum 10 years of relevant management and supervisory experience
- A minimum 5 years of successful project or program management experience within the DoD that involves providing professional support services and/or the integration, implementation, and deployment of large complex systems and sub-systems
- Experience orchestrating and managing the work efforts of at least subordinate personnel and familiarity with the Acquisition Management System (AMS)
- Extensive military Intelligence Systems domain knowledge
- Capable of planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of administrative, program, and technical personnel
- A thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems
- Knowledge and experience with the Department of Defense (DOD) / military plans, policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military systems
- Capable of managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time and within budget of performance in all aspects of the contractual effort
- Capable of providing direction for operations and ensuring compliance with all management policies, plans, and procedures
Experience is desired in the following disciplines:
- Experience in viewing, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence from all intelligence discipline to include IMINT, SIGINT, COMINT, HUMINT, and ELINT sources
- Military Intelligence experience at the tactical and operational level
- PMP Certification
