The two organizations now call for crucial support to feed communities across the nation
Tampa, FL - March 30, 2020 – Andrew Thomas, Kforce Chief Marketing Officer, and Thomas Mantz, Feeding Tampa Bay President and CEO, announced a national partnership between their organizations to provide necessary food and assistance for individuals in need. Shortly following their video announcement, the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has made its way across the globe, impacting millions and adding urgency to the struggle of hunger in America.
In light of this uncertain time, Kforce is asking others to join them in supporting Feeding America in their fight against hunger amid COVID-19. With school closures, job disruptions and health risks, millions of Americans will turn to food banks for much-needed support. As the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization with 60,000 food pantries and meal programs, Feeding America aims to end hunger for the millions of people they serve.

While currently focusing on immediate needs, the future of the partnership includes Kforce’s commitment to provide both monetary support for the cause and volunteers from their more than 50 offices across the country. Additionally, Kforce plans to lend its industry expertise to Feeding America’s workforce readiness program to help individuals in need secure job opportunities to break the cycle of hunger.
