Kforce COO Joins Most Impactful Women in Staffing

Staffing Industry Analysts Names Kye Mitchell on Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing List

Kforce Chief Operations Officer, Kye Mitchell, has been named on Staffing Industry Analysts’ Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list. The list, in its fourth year, celebrates the most powerful and impactful female leaders in the staffing industry.

“I’m honored to be named alongside so many trailblazing and impressive leaders in our industry. To me, it’s essential to surround yourself with a diverse team of people from different backgrounds and perspectives. On my team, innovation and idea sharing are necessities, not setbacks,” said Mitchell.

According to LinkedIn data, while women make up 55% of the staffing industry, only 40% of its leaders are female. The Global Power 150 represent female leaders at a crucial time for the staffing industry to work toward closing its leadership gender gap. Beyond her many accomplishments, Mitchell is a steadfast advocate for professional women.

“Kye is a role model with impeccable ethics and has focused on challenging the status quo. Personally, Kye has been a great mentor to me for the past 15 years, which began when I became the first recipient of her scholarship program at Penn State. Upon graduation, Kye offered me a full-time job opportunity within Kforce and helped me tremendously in achieving success in my role,” stated Christy Cheung in her award reference letter.

On International Women’s Day, Mitchell hosted a live webcast for Kforce associates where she interviewed her personal mentor, retired four-star Army Gen. Ann Dunwoody, as well as several other female leaders at the firm on career advice. Additionally, Mitchell spoke on the topic of leadership and change management at Grace Hopper Celebration, the world’s largest gathering of women technologists.
